Every now and again, a book comes along that is so unique and yet so simple in its concept that you immediately see its usefulness and application. MQ is such a book! You are about to embark on a journey that will leave its mark on you – whether you agree with the approach and the model or not. Either way you will leave this book changed!

Dionne van Zyl, Ph.D.

In MQ, the author’s thesis is that a “moral quotient” cannot be found without the acceptance of true value or “absolute truth” in every formula that seeks to measure and promote human progress (individually or in society and its many subsets). Loys de Fleuriot is an unapologetic Christian leader and statesman with solidly settled beliefs concerning the things he writes about: Truth, True Morality, moral values, moral balance – indeed, all those values that enable one to discover the “moral quotient.”

George E. Taylor, M.A.

With our society’s advances in information and technology who and what will provide the necessary guidance as we apply these powerful resources? We have all met individuals who have just enough information to make them dangerous. This can be much more volatile when whole nations forge ahead to acquire and act upon knowledge with no moral compass. Loys de Fleuriot writes with boldness and clarity on issues that have been tragically overlooked and desperately need to be addressed. I can attest to his personal integrity and global vision that grant him the credibility to call us to reexamine the direction in which we are headed. “The Moral Quotient” is worthy of careful consideration.

Allan Pole, D. Min.

We live in an age that highly values the pursuit of higher education to acquire the knowledge and skills that help us succeed in the work place, in our families, and in the communities in which we live. On top of this, recent research into emotional intelligence has also given valuable insight into the profound connection between strong relational skills and success in all areas of our lives. Yet, in spite of the advantages we enjoy through these insights, families continue to deteriorate and business uncertainty is escalating at an alarming rate. Why is the acquisition of knowledge (IQ) and of relational skills (EQ) not enough to help us achieve our dreams? Like a three-legged stool needs its third supporting leg, MQ is devoted to discovering a missing ingredient that is essential to promoting and building enduring success for our lives!
